This policy describes how PRIME CARGO MIAMI("we", "us") collects and uses information when you use the Prime Cargo Scanner mobile app. This app is for authorized warehouse staff and delivery drivers only. Accounts are created by your employer; there is no public self-registration.
Information we collect
- Account credentials — work email and password used to sign in.
- Operational scan data — warehouse receipt numbers, barcodes, zone assignments, dispatch manifests, and timestamps of scans you perform while working.
- Delivery proof (POD) — customer signatures, photos of ID, cargo, payment, and precise location (GPS) captured when completing or returning a delivery.
- Device push token — if notifications are enabled, so we can send operational alerts to your device.
How we use information
We use this data solely to run logistics operations: authenticate staff, record warehouse activity, manage truck dispatches, and document deliveries for our customers. We do not sell personal information and we do not use employee data for advertising or third-party tracking.
Camera and location
The app requests camera access to scan barcodes and capture delivery photos, and location access only when you complete or return a delivery so we can record where proof of delivery was captured. You can deny permissions, but related features will not work.
Sharing
Data may be shared with cloud hosting and notification providers under contract. Delivery proof may be shared with the relevant consignee or customer as part of normal logistics service. We may disclose information when required by law.
Account deletion
Scanner accounts are employer-managed. To deactivate your account or request deletion of personal data associated with your login, contact your supervisor or email administracion@primecargomiami.com. We will process verified requests within a reasonable time, subject to legal and operational record-keeping requirements.
